The Job:
Duties for this position include: oversight of finance and budget, human resources, provision of client services, public relations, and accounting. Lead, coach, and direct a growing team while creating an environment of trust, respect, and enthusiasm. The Clinic Manager also plays a key role with Mosaic Veterinary Partners in evaluating clinic performance, optimizing business growth, and developing innovative marketing strategies. The Ideal Candidate:
As our ideal Candidate, you have:
· 3+ years of management experience; preferably in veterinary medicine, but we will consider medical, retail or human resource fields as well;
· Direct experience leading more than 10 employees;
· Demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills combined with a positive team player attitude to enable our team to grow and flourish in a busy environment;
· Strong organizational skills which allow you to stay focused and work under pressure;
The Environment:
Clinic Managers can expect to spend a good part of their workdays at their own desk, some time at the front desk, and some time assisting the veterinarians and RVT’s. However, clinic managers need to have the physical strength and ability to stand for an entire shift when needed, and be able to lift pets and objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance. Each day is unique in this role. Our clinic manager must be prepared to work in a busy, fast-paced environment!
Qualifications:
The position requires the completion of a high-school degree or further education, competence in the English language, patience, and a pleasant manner. Previous industry experience or certification relative to the veterinary profession would be an asset.

Our hybrid VMR/ VTA must possess strong organizational skills, excellent telephone and in-person communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our employees are passionate show great compassion for animals and their owners and understand the stress that patients and clients endure. As we are a mixed animal practice, our employees must be comfortable working around multiple species of animals. The VMR / VTA daily duties comprise of the following, but they are not limited to these duties: greeting clients; differentiating routine cases from emergency cases; scheduling appointments; entering client, patient, and financial data into the computer; generating invoices and explaining them to clients; processing payments; managing the retrieval and storage of medical records; provide exceptional patient care, maintain biosecurity within the hospital, clean and maintain instruments and equipment and complete inventory tasks as needed; animal handling and husbandry; setting up for medical procedures and surgeries, and supporting veterinarians and veterinary technologists with daily treatments and care of patients.
The Environment:
